I was hired to come up with ‘wow’ factor graphics for a new style bar based in my hometown of Southampton. The bar ‘tokyo’ has a strong japanese vibe (hence the name :-/) so I came up with the visuals that will grace the front of the building. I personally cant wait to see the results, ill post real life pictures on friday after the lunch, not too early though ;

Uber studios are proud to announce a bit of a branch out!! We are stepping into the world of advertising with our new baby ‘in the picture’! Dubbed by us as a lifestyle guide, ‘in the picture’ captures the sexiness that is Southampton as well as clear and precise advertising space. The project has been gaining huge momentum with no less than 8 cities wanting to take on the franchise, The first Southampton will launch in August 2010, so even if you dont wanna see this, it’s tough because it will be everywhere & I mean everywhere!! It’s been far too long since I last checked in. I have been extremely busy on various projects but one little baby that is gonna surface this summer is our very own Uber™ Home, a company focusing on home products such as Blinds, Canvas’s, Wallpapers, Pillows and so on.
Please sat tuned for this as the team and I are putting our hearts into this.

This month has seen me do what I probably enjoy the most, a total brand overhaul and interior refit!!!! The project was Penthouse 90, this was formerly Carltons restaurant situated on the upper level of 90 degrees. The brief was to transform it into a stylistic, london feel bar! I approached the project with a view of making a black & white theme with edgy/high fashion photography with added design elements such as birds and victorian frames. The photography was very powerful and I think black and white enforces that even more, and to make the vibe even more dominating, I went about putting fashion & style quotes on all the images such as “Fashion fades, style is eternal”.
Creating this brand as well as all the other projects this month ensured plently consumption of Red bull & Nescafe! It has been hard work, but I have loved every minute of it.
As I write this, it’s the day of the Penthouse Launch & I urge everyone to get down and take a look. Some of the features you will see are , custom made wallpaper, custom made canvas’s aswell as frosted images on the ladies and gents toilets and several other spots throughout the bar.
